Sharyn Stevenson, Coordinator of Community Education, Arkansas Northeastern College

It occurred to me today that there has only ever been one place in my life where I knew I could go sit with a group of women without feeling judgement, drama, pressure, or any other negativity. That's the Memphis Raqs dance studio.

Alice Danter, Student for 2+ years

Liz pushes me to the limit and beyond. She makes me see the importance of not being too comfortable in my technique, but rather too keep pushing to excel.

Cassi was fun, upbeat, and more than willing to explain the breakdown of any move in question. Not to mention it is always a joy to watch her dance, as her technique is flawless!
